This Christmas season, everyone is looking for Christmas movies on Disney Plus. Many are adding the Disney Plus streaming service to their thriving listicles of streaming sites like Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix.
Faithful Disney fans, particularly movie fans, have flooded the sought-after service for its entertaining mix of modern and classic Disney movies.
In particular, this period of the year for the most popular Christmas Movies for little ones to toast the season. Here is a list of the most popular Christmas Movies on Disney+.
1. Home Sweet Home Alone
Home Sweet Home Alone is premiering this November and will be about a young child protecting his home against intruders.
This time around, it is Max Mercer, not the popular Kevin McAlister, who needs to baffle a couple in the hope of finding a priceless family treasure from his dwelling place.
2. LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special
The previously famous Star Wars Holiday Special was notably bad, yet the LEGO crew still went out of their way to try another. This time, it was a success!
It follows Chewie, Rose, Poe, Finn, and Rey for a Life Day experience using the same witty LEGO humor.
3. The Disney Holiday Singalong
This one-hour TV special included 12 holiday songs performed by world-famous singers. Celebrity appearances included BTS, Michael Bublé, Ciara, Katy Perry, Pink, and more.
Audiences and fans were able to sing along to classic Christmas songs such as Silent Night, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, and several more.
4. Arendelle Castle Yule Log
Of course, this is not a movie, yet it should be the norm every year. Disney offers a Yule Log that is streamable. It is similar to a fireplace direct out of the Arendelle castle.
There are no characters, music, or plot, and nothing goes on. There are three continuous hours of friendly fire background bliss. Keep it running as you open presents for a warm cozy feel.
5. Babes in Toyland
Babes in Toyland is a classic movie from the 60s. Mary and Tom are set to get married, but on the eve of their wedding, Tom is kidnapped by Barnaby’s evil goons so he can marry her instead.
With Tom Piper, Mary Contrary, and a group of other fanciful book characters, you will find yourself immersed in an imaginary story that happens in a mesmerizing fantasy Toyland.
6. Mickey’s Christmas Carol
There’ve been many modifications of the classic of Charles Dickens over the years. However, some individuals may stick to this as the best. Scrooge McDuck is visited by three ghosts one night who helps him remember the many blessings of Christmas.
7. One Magic Christmas
Santa sends the Christmas Angel, Gideon, to help Ginny, who hates Christmas. Gideon helps the family, who has fallen on hard times, begin to believe again with a trip to see Santa.
If your family is still a little young to appreciate the darker themes of It’s A Wonderful Life, One Magic Christmas provides a more PG approach. A mother isn’t in the Christmas spirit anymore, and it is up to her daughter and guardian angel to put things right.
8. The Christmas Star
A forger breaks out from jail since he resembles St. Nick with a long white beard and enormous belly. He hides out in a nearby neighborhood and then recruits kids who think he is the real Santa Claus to assist him finding in finding his counterfeit money. The two kids slowly help Horace McNickle learn the meaning of Christmas.
9. Home Alone
In this holiday movie favorite, 8-year-old Kevin McCallister, played by Macaulay Culkin, learns the importance of family after being left alone by accident.
Kevin enjoys having the house to himself for a change and has to look after his house during the holiday season when a pair of burglars target his home. Will Kevin’s creative booby traps be enough to hold off the thieves before his family returns home?
10. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
In this Home Alone sequel, Kevin become lost in New York City. This time around, Kevin has enough cash and gadgets to set himself up in a nice hotel.
Kevin accidentally bumps into the burglars he once fought off back home, Harry, played by Joe Pesci, and Marve, played by Daniel Stern. They face off again in another house of traps. Have the burglars Harry and Marv learned from their past encounters to beat Kevin at his own game?
11. Home Alone 3
In Home Alone 3, four tech spies team up to steal a top-secret microchip. They hide the chip in a toy car to transport the secret cargo safely through the airport. Mrs. Hess gets the toy and gifts it to her 8-year-old neighbor Alex.
To get the toy back, the spies break into every house on the block, and when they get to Alex’s home, he is ready with some surprises of his own.
12. Home Alone 4
The 4th version of Home Alone brings us more of a reboot with a young Kevin McCallister working to protect his home from Marv. The home is under invasion during a fancy party, and Kevin’s parents are divorcing. He has his work cut out to bring harmony to the house again.
13. Home Alone The Holiday Heist
The original Home Alone is a holiday movie in its own right. But, this later edition goes further as Finn Baxter protects his home from art thieves during the Christmas holidays. Expect plenty of slapstick and booby-traps in this fun adventure.
14. The Muppet Christmas Carol
Fozzie, Miss Piggy, Kermit, and each Muppet friend are tasked to teach Scrooge the real meaning of Christmas. Aside from the famous holiday tale, this movie includes original music by Paul Williams, the person behind the songs like “Rainbow Connection” and Michael Caine plays Scrooge.
15. The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Nightmare Before Christmas is a classic stop-motion animation movie about Halloween and Christmas. Created by the genius Tim Burton, this film is about the pumpkin king of Halloween Town, Jack Skellington, who is bored with the holiday.
One day Jack visits Christmas Town and is amazed by the Christmas holiday. He enlists his Halloween Town helpers to transition to Christmas, but his plans don’t go as smoothly as he hoped.
16. The Santa Clause
On Christmas Eve, Scott Calvin, played by Tim Allen, hears some noise on his roof and calls out to Santa, who takes a tumble off the roof. Scott is recruited as the next Santa Claus due to Santa’s injuries and delivers presents all over town the same night.
Scott’s next most significant challenge is believing in himself as Santa and weaving this new part of his life with his family.
17. The Santa Clause 2
In the sequel, Scott has been a successful Santa for the past several years, but some fine print shows he must find a Mrs. Clause, or he won’t be Santa for much longer.
Scott’s challenges don’t end there because his son Charlie has landed on the naughty list, and things get out of control at his north pole home base.
18. The Santa Clause 3
In the third and final chapter of The Santa Clause series, Santa Scott and Mrs. Claus Carol run the North Pole and all the operations at full speed. An emergency meeting on Christmas Eve reveals that Jack Frost is trying to take over the Christmas holiday for himself and attempts to sabotage the North Poles toy factory.
19. Beauty & The Beast: The Enchanted Christmas
Belle decides to decorate the castle for Christmas even though the Beast has said he is against it. Belle believes the decorations will lift his spirits with some Christmas cheer. Some other characters agree with the Beast, like the pipe organ, Forte, who wishes to stop Belle, so he doesn’t lose favor with the Beast.
20. Richie Rich’s Christmas Wish
Richie Rich gets blamed for spoiling Christmas, and in his anger, he wishes he had never been born. A wishing machine hears Richie Rich’s wish and makes it come true. Lost in a parallel universe Richie Rich must find the wish machines inventor to get his life back to normal.
21. I’ll Be Home for Christmas
Jake is a self-obsessed college student who needs to arrive home on Christmas to receive his dad’s classic car. Getting home on time isn’t as easy as he thinks it will be, but he might learn something about the spirit of Christmas on the way.
22. Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas
Once Upon a Time Christmas by Mickey is the best fit. This movie is a three-part holiday-themed featuring popular Disney characters. In the first part, Donald Duck and his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie relive the magic of Christmas.
In part two, Goofy tries to convince his son to believe in Santa Claus. In part three, Mickey and Minnie embrace the true meaning of Christmas.
23. Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas
This classic Mickey Mouse cartoon is one that kids and parents will love because of its short storytelling. Our favorite mouse and his friends tell short Christmas tales in an adorable anthology. It is a simple tale for all ages, sure to get everyone in the spirit for the big day.
24. ‘Twas The Night
Twas The Night follows a familiar concept in an original Disney Channel production. Santa is unavailable on Christmas Eve, and if no one flies the sleigh, there will be no presents for good boys and girls. Time for our hero’s uncle to prove himself to the family and take the reigns.
25. Christmas…Again?!
Some kids would like nothing more than for Christmas to be every day. But, 12-year-old Rowena learns the hard way that this isn’t all that fun when she is forced to relive it day after day. It is a festive Groundhog Day for the whole family.
26. Noelle
This live-action Disney movie is an early outing for Anna Kendrick, in the lead role as Noelle, and Bill Hader as Nick Kringle. It is up to Kris Kringle’s kids to take control on Christmas Eve and deliver all the presents on time. Soon, Noelle realizes she must take charge and save the night.
27. A Christmas Carol
A Christmas Carol is one of the most well-known Christmas stories and a must for the festive season. This Disney version takes a CGI look at the classic Dickens tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and the Christmas spirits. Voiced by Jim Carrey, it uncover the true meaning of Christmas.
28. Prep & Landing
Prep and Landing is a fun little movie for kids focusing on a couple of elves. This odd couple or an experienced rookie workshop elf are forced to co-exist in the spirit of buddy-cop movies. Can they solve the challenges and get Christmas back on track?
29. Prep & Landing Naughty vs Nice
The adventures of these two brave elves continue in Naughty or Nice. This time the oddball pair have to work together to reclaim technology stolen from the North Pole. Can they get it back before all the top-secret details are leaked to the world?
30. Prep & Landing Operation Secret Santa
At this point, our two elves are quite the team and trusted by none other than Mrs. Claus herself for a top-secret mission. They need to retrieve a box in Santa’s workshop undercover, but can they sneak in and out unseen?
31. Ice Age A Mammoth Christmas
Ice Age is a classic winter-themed movie for the holidays. But, there is also a more festive alternative out on Disney Plus. It turns out that the naughty list doesn’t just apply to human children. Sid, Eddie, and Crash made it on there, and want to rectify the situation.
32. Ernest Saves Christmas
Ernest doesn’t immediately sound like the ideal candidate to take over the role of Santa Claus. Still, he is out to prove everyone wrong and become Santa’s rightful heir. This movie follows Ernest through his trials and triumphs along the way.
33. 12 Dates of Christmas
This nod to the 12 days of Christmas brings us a romantic comedy set around the festive season. It is Christmas Eve, and our heroine’s blind date didn’t go quite well. Luckily, she relives the night and makes it perfect with magic.
34. Pluto’s Christmas Tree
Mickey and Pluto set out on an adventure to find a Christmas tree for their home during the holidays. In this short film, a team of two ventures into the wilderness and chop down a perfect Christmas tree.
At home decorating the tree, they discover the tree has secrets of its own, Chip ‘n Dale lives in the tree.
35. The Ultimate Christmas Present
This quirky family-friendly comedy has an unusual premise that many kids can relate to. Many friends discover the machine Santa uses to make it snow on Christmas. The only problem is that they create a more chaotic snow day in the heart of Los Angeles than they bargained for.
36. A Muppets Christmas: Letters To Santa
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a Muppet adventure. In this tale, Gonzo gets in trouble again and has letters meant for Santa. The only thing for the gang to do is head to the North Pole to make sure they get to the right place!
37. Godmothered
Godmothered is a new addition to the Disney Christmas movie list for 2021, so something new for the whole family. The world has stopped believing in the power of fairy godmothers quite how it used to. So, a young recruit is out to change all that and make a lasting impression.
38. Mickey & Minnie Wish Upon A Christmas
This festive film sees our favorite mouse couple separated from the gang just before Christmas. Follow their adventure as they try their best to reunite so they can spend the holidays together again.
39. Jingle All the Way
The basic premise of this 90’s classic is pretty simple. A father has promised his son the top toy for Christmas. But, this Turbo Man figure is selling out fast. It is a race against time, and fellow parents, to get the toy and get it back for Christmas morning.
40. Jingle All the Way 2
If the original Jingle All The Way was a hit, this sequel should be too. The underlying plot is similar as it revolves around a desire for a specific talking bear. This time, it is a fight between a father and stepfather to see who can provide the gift.
41. Duck the Halls A Mickey Mouse Christmas Special
It turns out that Donald Duck has never spent Christmas with his friends because he usually flies home for winter. This film explores what it is like for him to experience the winter with the rest of the gang.
42. Holiday House Party
Disney Channel Holiday House Party is a modern take on an old variety show. The young cast brings sketches and other humorous pieces with a festive holiday theme. It is an excellent alternative to feature-length movies and perfect for those that love High School Musical.
43. High School Musical: The Musical Movie: The Holiday Special
This movie is for big fans of the High School Musical Disney TV series and its cast. Rather than offer a new story, it lets the cast talk about Christmas memories and traditions to give more insight into their lives.
44. Santa Paws
The Search For Santa Paws is a dog-themed Christmas film that enthrall all kids who love puppies. Santa has lost his memory, which isn’t ideal with Christmas around the corner. So, an elf and his magic dog go and track him down.
45. Santa Paws 2 The Santa Pups
Unsurprisingly, when you have a sequel to a Santa Paws movie, you end up with puppies as the next generation of magical dogs. Four adorable talking dogs are concerned that the Christmas spirit is low. They make it their mission to raise spirits and save the holiday.
46. The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
This Nutcracker tale is perfect for anyone who wants to blend classic Christmas themes and fantasy adventure in a holiday movie. This star-studded adventure follows a young girl on a quest through the four realms of a mystical world inhabited by the Nutcracker.
47. Santa’s Workshop
Santa’s Workshop is an older film with hand-drawn animation if you want to show kids what cartoons were like nearly 100 years ago. This six-minute cartoon shows elves preparing Santa’s sleigh with toys ready for the big flight.

49. The Small One
